Item #R1SA (stainless) or #R1CA (carbon) is Grohmann's original pattern Canadian belt knife--legendary for hunting, camping, hiking, and many other outdoor activities. This elegant rosewood-handled knife also frequently finds its way into kitchens and dining rooms around the world. It is about 8 1/2" long with a 4" elliptical-shaped blade. The distinctive shape lessens cutting drag and provides a strong spine for heavy work. The handle is "offset" in that its design allows for finger clearance and a slightly upward tilt for the blade, resulting in aggressive slicing capabilities. The full-tang European steel is sabre ground to an impressively sharp edge. Each knife comes with a top-of-the-line overlap sheath (see picture and video in upper left), which is an upgrade over Grohmann's standard open-top tube sheath.....$68.00.
