In 1957 manufacturer Rudolph Grohmann, along with Canadian designer D.H. Russell, started a revolution in fixed-blade outdoor knives which, we believe, has yet to reach its zenith. They produced a unique ergonomic knife with an elliptical blade and an "offset" handle, and the D.H. Russell Canadian belt knife was born. Today the Grohmann Company of Pictou, Nova Scotia, continues to produce this award-winning masterpiece.
